An annual Hemp convention held in North Carolina focusing on education, laws, farmers and small businesses in the region's industry. The event is located on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC in the booming, quaint town of Salisbury. The 2-day event is designed to create synergy and partnerships amongst existing and new industry businesses. There will be nearly 20 speakers providing education on growing, getting into the industry, creating a brand, marketing 101 and more!

State of Hemp Business Breakfast

Keynote: Chris Suttle

FRIDAY, AUGUST 13th

Join us for our signature kickoff event, the State of Hemp Business Breakfast. The pre-show event is geared towards our business community. Hear about the current climate of North Carolina's progress within the Hemp Industry and Cannabis movement.

Chris Suttle is a cannabis activist from Chapel Hill NC. While his involvement in the cannabis industry goes back to the 90’s he began to take a more active role in activism after surviving a brain tumor scare through the use of medicinal cannabis. “After planning my funeral not knowing the results for my 40th birthday I decided if my life was spared I would make certain no one had to experience that type of pain for themselves” He currently focuses his efforts between lobbying pro bono with the NCGA for cannabis legalization and filming a series of pro cannabis PSA videos that will air on three different statewide broadcast networks in NC, TN and GA.

The Breakfast is for all participating sponsors, vendors, Full Access Ticket holders and also offered a la carte. The Vendor Area will open immediately following the presentation, allowing for all vendors to attend.

Join us for the After Hours Meet & Greet starting at 5:00pm on Friday. NC House Representative Kelly Alexander will meet with event participants to address legalization in the state. There will be a Q&A session. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard!
